Make-DoA Library of Things for the Illawarra

Make-Do Library of Things is a volunteer run, not for profit association, working to enrich the lives of our members and reduce landfill through sharing resources as a community. We keep the type of household or recreational item that you might need just a couple of times a year.

Make-Do is membership based - $80/year for an adult. The fees go to maintaining the library, tools and building the collection.

HOW TO JOIN

It’s easy to sign-up:

1. Create an account online with MyTurn and complete a membership application

2. Read and accept the Liability Waiver and the Borrowing Rules & Tool Use Policy.

3. Make payment via Stripe.

4. Bring in a photo ID when borrowing. Memberships are good for 12 months and can be renewed at any time.

RESERVING ITEMS

Once you have chosen the items to reserve in MyTurn, you must go to the cart and submit it.

Your reservation is only complete when you have received an email from MyTurn.

Once you have reserved your item, come along on the day to pick it up.

PICK-UP AND RETURNS

Please keep in mind if you have reserved something, it will need to be returned by the previous borrower that same day. We cannot guarantee the time the item will be there if being returned that day, and items must be checked by our staff before heading out again. Please respect the tools and borrowing times so everyone is happy! :)

TOOLS AND ITEMS WANTED

Our library is furnished with the generous donations of our members. You can drop in during opening hours or send us an email or facebook message to organise a donation. Thank you for enriching our community! Please contact info@make-do.com.au for any other enquiries.
